Samsung unveils its new 4G slate, the Galaxy Tab J

Samsung unveils its new 4G slate, the Galaxy Tab J

On the Taiwan side, Samsung has officially lifted the veil on its latest tablet. Called Galaxy Tab J, she has the good idea to be 4G compatible, but rather cheek low profile outside of this argument.

The Galaxy Tab J, in the image of smartphones stamped Galaxy J, clearly represents the entry-level Samsung 2016 cuvĂ©e in tablet. In fact, the slate, characterized by a diagonal of 7 inches (17.8 cm approx.), Is limited to a definition of 1,280 x 800 px, which does not allow its PLS panel (IPS in the sauce Samsung ) To offer a shy resolution of 215 dpi. Behind it, we do not know which chip is responsible for animating Android 5.1 (Lollipop), but we know that 4 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz are present. To support them, Samsung has provided 1.5 GB of RAM, while internal memory reaches 8 GB. Good news, a microSD port allows to see a little further than this meager storage space.

Trend requires, The Galaxy Tab J is equipped with two 8 and 2 megapixel camera. It does not have a fingerprint reader, but can boast of a smartphone-like connectivity. This includes Wi-Fi b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, GPS and, most importantly, 4G. The slate even hosts two SIM slots. It must be said that these find easily place within the carcass not really compact of 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7 mm. With its 4,000 mAh battery, the package is 289 g heavy.

For the moment, only Taiwan was entitled to an exit date and a suggested selling price. The Galaxy Tab J will be available at the beginning of August and will initially display at a local price of 5,990 dollars. This corresponds, to the game of the conversion beast and naughty, to 170 of our euros.
